Thank You, First Responders!
On the morning of Wednesday October 12, 2022, a building directly adjacent to the Century Seals facility caught fire and burned to the ground. Out of an abundance of caution and for the safety of our employees, we decided to suspend production for the day and safely evacuated all of our personnel. Thankfully our buildings sustained only minor damage and we will be back to business as usual on Thursday, October 13th.
Century Seals wishes to extend its heartfelt gratitude for the dedication, bravery, and hard work of the men and women from the following fire companies in Delaware: Seaford, Blades, Bridgeville, Delmar, Ellendale, Greenwood, Laurel, and Millsboro; and Federalsburg in Maryland. The importance of the work done by these first responders and volunteers cannot be overstated, and we thank them sincerely for their service to our communities.
